Our washed sand can be used to blend with soils to improve texture, drainage qualities and also to add structure to soils and composts.
This sand has little or no clay in it which makes it ideal for drainage. Often used to create low fertility topsoils wild flower meadows.
Quarried from a land-based quarry, the salt content of this sand is much lower than standard marine dredged sand making it suitable as a soil improver, for use under new turf and in borders around plants.
